Frequently asked questions

Who are we?

We are Amazonian Coffee Company, growers and traders of Colombian coffee operating out of Pitalito, Huila. We work from origin and control the chain from the farm to the roast, which lets us offer coffee with consistent quality, lot-level traceability and a direct relationship with producers.

Why work directly with ACC?

Because you work with the people who select, grow, roast and answer for the coffee. That gives us more control over quality, origin, formats and supply, with no middlemen.

What coffee do we offer to businesses?

For our business programs we work mainly with 100% Arabica coffee from Huila, a region internationally known for its coffee tradition and high-quality profiles. We select coffees that let us offer consistency and stable supply for every operation.

Our Amazonian-origin coffees are exceptional microlots with very limited availability, so we reserve them for special editions and smaller-volume programs.

Who do you work with and what do you sell?

We work with coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, offices, companies and roasters in the United States.

In roasted coffee we offer 2.5 oz, 8 oz, 12 oz, 16 oz and 5 lb formats, whole bean or ground. In green coffee we handle 12 kg, 30 kg and 70 kg presentations, plus selected lots and microlots.

If your operation needs another format, volume or a specific coffee, we can put together a tailored proposal.

Where are you located and where do you deliver?

We grow and roast in Pitalito, Huila, and our United States operation is concentrated in San Jose, California.

Our main market is the Bay Area, including San Jose, Silicon Valley, the Peninsula, San Francisco and the East Bay.

We also evaluate deliveries outside the Bay Area depending on volume, frequency and logistics. If you have a specific location, ask us and we will look at the best option.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. Roasted coffee programs start at 15 lb per month, with better terms as volume grows.

For green coffee you can start with a 30 kg pilot lot, designed to evaluate the coffee in production before moving to larger purchases.

Our programs require no lock-in contracts. Volume and frequency adapt to what each operation needs.

Can we try the coffee before buying?

Yes. We want you to evaluate the coffee before bringing it into your operation.

For roasted coffee we offer samples of the profiles that best fit your business. For roasters we can arrange green coffee samples, lot evaluation and trials before moving to larger purchases.

Request your samples through the form and our team will get in touch to define the best option.

How long does an order take?

Our target lead time for roasted coffee is up to 10 days from order confirmation, depending on volume and destination.

We work with scheduled production to deliver fresh coffee and avoid long-standing inventory. For recurring programs we can set a delivery calendar based on your consumption.

How does buying for a business in the United States work?

Your company buys directly from Amazonian Coffee Company LLC in the United States. We quote and invoice in dollars, coordinate supply and deliver the coffee under the agreed terms. You take care of your operation; we take care of the coffee.

What requirements does the coffee meet to be sold in the United States?

Our coffee is roasted at a facility with an active FDA Food Facility Registration. Every shipment bound for the United States is filed with its Prior Notice before arrival, and the packaging complies with the applicable FDA labeling requirements.

What documentation does my company receive?

We can provide a commercial invoice, origin information, a spec sheet and lot traceability records.

If your company needs additional documentation for its purchasing, quality or compliance processes, we can review it before the program starts.

How can my company communicate ACC's impact?

Every purchase contributes to our work with producers and to the restoration and conservation projects in the Colombian Amazon.

For companies that want to bring this story into their brand, we can provide origin information, communication material and data about the projects supported.

That way the impact behind the coffee becomes a story your company can share with its customers, clearly and verifiably.
